In this map I had to classify all of these features from another image using ERDAS IMAGINE 2020. The main point of this exercise was to take another image that had "spectral confusion". We had to use a mix of the raster attribute editor (for altering and viewing our classes), recode (for combining our classes that were in essence repeats of the others for extra data purposes) & inquire cursor (by typing in preset coordinates which we had for certain features we can use this to jump straight to them). So, we had some preset coordinates given for most of the features (except the water and roads we had to do those ourselves) I typed them all in and chose the best fit for their feature classes. After this I choose my own water and roads as well. Then I had to combine all the files that we extra to have a total of 8. After combining and altering the color schemes I ended up with the image above. The small one on the right is a distance image which is a subset comparison of the main one on the left. This is a very useful technique to be able to use to create colored maps from scrap. This image is a rough discerning of the previous map to get a rough estimate of the acreage of all the main features listed.
