Module 1.3: Data Quality- Assessment

The project this week was specializing in the percental differences in two separate roadway files
street centerlines and tiger roads. These were combined with the overall grid layer so that we could break it down into every separate square grid (297 in this). These can be viewed in the map above with the different colorings of each square. The goal of this is so these areas can be more easily identified in a more confined manner of the maps being viewed. When viewing the total length as a whole as we did in the beginning of the assignment this can give a good overall view of whichever subject being viewed is more complete. This doesn't tell the whole story by way of individual areas though. So we broke it down even more into individual grids with a percentile breakdown so instead of viewing the subject as a whole it can be broken down into smaller means. I found this to be a great tool to use for analysis and a very applicable mapping tool for percentage based evaluations.
