Lab 1 Map Maker in the Making

In our first lab we reviewed over the basic procedures for accessing and transporting information across our student network. This information is paramount because it allows us to easily access files stored in the network that are crucial for our future assignments. After this we briefly ran over the internal concept of ArcGISPro that allow for more efficient use of the program. Finishing this we were able to make our first map! The planet with black dots marking cities as well as countries being highlighted. This allows you to click on the corresponding cities to get information like population and such. Finally we were able to customize our images I choose to do street maps at night combined with darker spectrum colors for my planet.
This assignment was a very good introduction to running the programs and gave me a great overall first experience in using ArcGISPro. I feel very confident after this first lab and am looking forward to the rest of our future map making!
